Ok what’s been happening? Well obviously the single was released last week and received some airplay. Whether we can keep any momentum going on this or build it up I don’t know but it won’t be through lack of effort on my part.
I have noticed that not all of you on the mailing list have taken advantage of the free download; I can’t make you do this of course J. Maybe you have bought it from ITunes or Amazon instead but I have no way of knowing at the moment.
So last Friday we played the Ridger in West Kirby, a local gig and we were looking forward to this as it was a good one when we played there back in February. From my point of view I was quite disappointed in the gig, I don’t know why and it actually went down quite well but for me personally it was a difficult one; nothing seemed to be working like it usually does. Sometimes this just happens but hey it’s only rock & roll, not to be taken too seriously.
We will be back though and next time I am sure any issues will be corrected.
Saturday we were back at the Cardwell Arms in Adlington, a great venue if somewhat compact. We’ve always had good nights in here and Saturday was no exception even thought there seemed to be less people in than usual. I don’t think this was caused by us as Taff the landlord reported a quiet night all over town.
I was a lot happier with this gig, even though using smaller equipment in order to fit it in to the space everything was just far more comfortable and working as expected.
Good fun.
Not a lot else has happened. I am still hoping to get to the Tate gallery in Liverpool to see the “Glam” exhibition before it finishes but not sure when I may get there. I can’t see it being this weekend as there are three gigs including a late afternoon one in Whittles.
Until Next time,
Keep rockin’
Craig
