Well I thought I would update you about last week’s gig at the Fox and Goose – in Southport.
As we had been told it was a great venue. Good crowd of people, all there to see a live band and appreciative of our Good time Feel good rock.
The owner Ian provided excellent hospitality and we were rewarded for our efforts by being rebooked for next year. Check web site for dates. A late start 11:00pm and we finished at 1:30 but when the crowd is having fun and we are having fun it’s not an issue. A good night had by all.
Ok no gigs this week. Next one is Dec 13th in Bentham.
Anyway now that Halloween and Bonfire night are out of the way I guess we can mention Christmas. Only because we need to remind you that our evergreen sing-along Christmas single “it’s Christmas – Let’s have a good time “ can be obtained from all the usual download sites and from our own website of course.
Click here to find it on ITunes. Actually has a nice review by Fret Buzz.
As usual we are being ignored by our local venues. That in itself I don’t mind but when you are told the reason is they are booked up for the year yet bands who have formed since being told that seem to be playing there regularly you know you basically someone is not telling the truth. It is just a shame as numerous people keep asking when we are playing locally and we never are.
I haven’t heard anything about whether our “Night Ride” track from 100% Live will be included on the free cover CD that is being issued with the December issue of Total Biker FM (TBFM) Magazine yet. They say no news is good news?
To be quite honest not much else has happened.
Nothing to rant about and musically apart from acquiring classical music’s greatest hits as a bit of a change there isn’t anything to report there either.
Looking into sound bars for the TV? Are they worthwhile?
So I will leave it there it there for now
Until next time
Keep rockin’
Craig
